Excellent. You do not need to study beforehand or know your houses, placements, aspects, or what a rising sign is. For astrology, all you need is your birth date, exact birth time, and birth place. You can arrive curious. I will do the translating.

I have been reading people longer than I have been reading charts. Astrology and tarot gave language and structure to something I was already doing instinctively: noticing patterns, contradictions, strengths, defenses, and the thing somebody keeps circling without quite naming.

While deconstructing the religion I grew up in, I had a fairly obvious realization: if I really do get to choose what spirituality looks like, why on earth had I chosen sitting in church every Sunday over lighting candles, connecting with trees and rocks and water and stars, and divining? I chose the fun stuff. Quite happily.

I am neurodivergent, extremely nerdy, queer, recovering from 18 years of chronic illness, and possessed of a very low tolerance for spiritual bypassing. I will not predict when you will die. I can, however, most certainly tell you about your next emotional rebirth.

My Philosophy

Astrology is a map, not an alibi.

We all know a Debbie. “It’s not my fault I called her a bitch when she cut me off. I’m an Aries. I have to tell the truth. Some people just can’t handle it.”

Debbie, darling. No.

Your chart is not a permission slip for bad behavior. I am far more interested in what the placement is actually showing us. Maybe that Aries Sun lands in the fourth house and you go to bat for the people you love without hesitation. Wonderful. Where is that instinct an asset? Where is it making your life harder? And how could you use it on purpose in the situation you actually came here to solve?

That is when astrology gets interesting.

This is where it gets useful

Leverage it. Redirect it. Overcome it.

From inside your own life, these can look annoyingly similar. A strength you keep shrinking, an instinct landing in the wrong place, and a pattern that is quietly screwing you over can all feel like “this is just who I am.” The work is learning the difference.
